So, I've admitted before that I have an iPod problem. The collection currently stands at 8 of them that range from my original 6 year old mini to my current 5th generation nano. Each serves a purpose, but the 2 that see the most use are the newest nano and my 1st generation touch. Both are my constant companions. The nano, because of the tiny size, tends to end up buried under things.. I even ordered it in bright yellow, hoping that it would be easier to spot when misplaced. (Yes, I tend to lose track of my tiny toys.)

After the last 3-day panic over the missing nano (lost on my messy desk), I decided to take advantage of the built-in alarm. I set it to go off at 9:30 every morning. It now beeps and then goes to the assigned playlist. So simple. If I really can't find it, I may have to wait until morning, but I at least have a way to track it now. And yes, I have used the "find" button on my cordless phones at times. Haven't you?

Did you know that Tuesday is the day that the iTunes Store adds new releases? It's also the day they post new "Free on iTunes" material, from songs to audiobook excerpts to movie trailers and free TV episodes. Check it out. You never know what you'll find there.

One Response to iPod Odds and Ends

  1. Calvin says:

    Oh Phyl,

If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?

I did not know that iPods had alarms. Learned something new.
