For those of us who have an rv, this could be perfect. If it has gps capabilities, the larger screen would be welcome in our truck as opposed to the little handheld we have now. I would like to take it with me on walks as I try to identify plants, birds, and animals. I would use it to show all my cool photos to my friends without having to drag my laptop around with me. I do wish it were linked with Verizon, though. We have a mifi which is a portable hotspot and I really don't want to have to add another service fee. But, this device just might make me go for it. I'll have to give it a try when it comes out.

Funny Cal. :-)
Things you have to do (or should do) often get in front of things you want to do. This little "entertainment system" as I've branded it, Is a great 'bulk' destroyer. Not much to pack away, flip the portfolio cover over and go.

Wow I did not know that the older you get you lose the ability to draw. Doesn't matter I can't draw anyways.

While I like new gadgets, find the iPad slick. I'd rather use a laptop because I like having all the horsepower and functions rather tan a limited set. I would be just as careful hauling around an iPad as I would a MacBook and weight really is not a problem for me.

I can, however, see this as one slick presentation tool for sales people that do more "one on one's" with customers. Insurance people, direct sales, Wedding Planners, and those types.

Mobile portfolio.
Viewing station at sport events I shoot.
