I’m starting my Christmas Wish List early.

Really now, can you ever start that list too early?

Items will surely make it on and off the list as new gadgets appear this season. One item on that list will be a web cam. Yeah, I know, who buys web cams these days? Our cameras are built right into our computers. Yes, this is true. Though when you do podcasts and such, additional cameras are necessary.

So, with that simple justification, I’ve added the Logitech Broadcaster Wi-Fi Webcam to my Wish List. This Wi-Fi cam is for the iPhone, iPad and Mac computer.

It can stream live or record video. You can pair the Broadcaster with the Mac’s built-in iSight camera to record two different views simultaneously.

With video apps, you can press a button on the  Broadcaster to toggle between the iSight and Broadcaster vantage points.

The Broadcaster’s carry case doubles as a stand for the camera, which allows you to set and turn it in any direction without the worry of a cord. Cool.

The Broadcaster streams and records in HD 720p, requires OSX Lion or later, Wi-Fi router (802.11 g/n), a high-speed internet connection, and the software for your iDevices.

The Logitech Broadcaster Wi-Fi Webcam can be preordered now and costs $199, see more about it here:
