In the Market for Portable Speakers?

Recently, my portable speakers died. They served me well, I guess it was just their time to go. While the speakers on my iDevices are mostly adequate for my needs when going from room to room, being able to grab the portable speakers to use in conjunction is often a sweet option to have.

I like portable…its just so me.

So, I went looking for a possible replacement, to add to my ever-growing Holiday Wish List. The portable speaker(s) that really caught my eye was the Jabra Solemate.

The Jabra Solemate features Bluetooth connectivity to allow you to take it anywhere. It can stream music going room to room or on the move outside of home/office, controlled from a laptop, iPhone (smartphone), iPad or iPod. It can even be used  as a microphone/speaker for calls.

The device has a carry strap on the side, a vibration-dampening rubber base, is dust and splash resistant, operates up to 10m (33 feet), has 8-10 hours of battery life, and comes with a power adapter, a 3.5mm audio cable, a USB cable, Quick Start Guide and protective carry pouch Soundbag, especially made to not muffle the speaker when placed inside.

With a footprint of roughly 6.75in L x 2.5in W x 2.75in H, the Jabra Solemate is quite portable.

If you’re in the market for portable speakers, this one is definitely worth a look-see.
