I’m not a big computer gamer. I’ve never been into the various role playing and simulator games. I will admit to a bunch of different solitaire games, but I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a deck of cards nearby. Lately, I’ve been hooked on a couple of simple but frustrating (at times) connect-the-dots games on my iPad & iPhone. Lorene (you know who you are), it’s all your fault.
Flow Line and Flow Free are both freebies and play the same way. Connect the like-colored dots and don’t leave any squares blank. Easy on a 5 X 5 square, but not so easy when you get up to 10 X 10 or 12 X 12. Trust me, I’ve been there.
I’ve probably been playing with Flow Line more simply because it gives you a free hint every day. It also has a bunch of easy levels that are aimed at the junior members of the family. Both will encourage you to buy extra hints ($.99 for 5 hints) but if you get stuck and are out of free hints, go to a different level and go back to the stinker later. You’ll probably figure it out. There are a bunch of variations available, but these are the two I’m currently hooked on. Warning! They are highly addictive.
