MacGroup would like to recognize Karen Minto
For me it's very refreshing to have a change of pace. For example, trying out a 7-Up instead of that usual Coke. Having a slice of Cherry pie instead of Apple. Seeing a MacGroup member doing a presentation other than the usual but great Terry White show.
It's great to see someone else volunteering. Now don't get me wrong, we have a solid staff of people that volunteer on a REGULAR basis... ALL OF the TIME. I am not counting them in this particular instance and I thank them because they keep the group going. The ones I am talking about are the ones that either climb out of their comfort zone or are just really excited about a piece of software or hardware they use with their Mac and willing to share the group.
This months volunteer would be Karen Minto. Karen is a MacGroup member who enjoys her Mac and the software Vue 7 that she uses. She did a great presentation and showed another dimension of what you can do with the Mac. And she did it by just sharing what excites her about the Mac. You don't have to be a profession presenter, you just have to be excited about what you do with your Mac or how it is part of your life.
