Anyone who knows me will tell you that I like shortcuts. If there is an easier way to do something, I want to find it. If you find yourself creating similar documents over and over again, you should be using templates.

All word processor, spreadsheet and page layout programs come with a variety of fill-in-the-blanks document templates, but creating your own is as easy as creating any single document. Need letterhead? Create your own and save it as a template.

  1. Can you tell us about places we can download templates for iWork?

  2. Phyllis Evans says:

There are a bunch of places, like but I generally just design my own. Do a google search for iWork templates. Some are free, some are paid, but there are templates for just about everything.
