OK, It's been a week since the Thanksgiving Holiday, which means that Black Friday and Cyber Monday have past since my last post.

People have slept outside on the ground en masse, in the cold. Gotten up early (or never gone to bed) in order to be among the first in line for what has been advertised as awesome deals, at the ungodly hour of 3…AM, at local retailers. (I guess no one would stand in line outside a Meijers, would they?)

Hence, my question is "What'd you get?"!!!!

Even if you didn't brave the 3am madness, what Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal did you find to spend your money on? Deal or Dud?

For me, a Deal. It was something I needed: A Jabra Bluetooth headset that normally sells for $49, Best Buy advertised a Black Friday price of $20.

I’d spend the money on a warm bed and a hot meal for all those souls who sleep outside on the ground en masse in the cold EVERY night of the year.
I think we’ve lost the meaning of the season.

    Hi Gary,
“Lost the meaning of the season.”
“Humanity.” That’s not necessarily so. We have no idea how many en masse shoppers have donated to their favorite charity, helped someone in need and/or do community work regularly.

“Shopping” This has developed into a good time to buy the things you need as well as the things you might want.

Gary, where is it “cold EVERY night of the year”? Is homelessness a problem in the polar regions?
