I have to admit that Halloween is probably my favorite time of year. I have a thing for old, corny horror movies. Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, Bela Lugosi, can’t get enough of them. And it’s not just the old horror films. One of my favorites came out of New Zeeland a few years ago, Black Sheep. Genetically modified vampire sheep. Yep. You can stop them with mint jelly. (I said I like them corny.)
As usual, there are a bunch of new Halloween apps for the iPad and iPhone. I’ve checked out some of the freebies and there are a few I can recommend.
FIrst up is Halloween Spooky Sound Box Free. 50+ sound effects from creaking doors to spooky music. It doesn’t do much, but it is free.
Next up is Halloween WordSearch. Just your standard wordsearch puzzles, but with a Halloween theme. Use it to keep the kids out of your hair.
Last one up is Halloween Tripeaks Card Game. I like card games and tripeaks is one of my favorite time wasters. This one is one of the best I’ve played with over the years. Works on both iPhone and iPad. You can get rid of the ads for $1.99, but why bother.
Finally, it’s time for a new music video from your MacGroup 5.
